My other company (Rinelli Interactive Services) is still in buissness. Well could be better though, but I am not complaining. Homepages and so on I am designing in my afternoons and free time.

updated the gallery and guestbook to recent versions.
Got a lot of advertising entries in the guestbook lately (about 30) and decided to delete them. A guestbook is not meant for advertising... well at least not mine.

The last months I've got very busy in designing web graphics and web pages.
I plan opening a separate category "my work" so that I can share it with you.

Usually designing with Photoshop and Corel I found through my brother a new and much better (and amazingly faster) vector graphic program: XaraXtreme.

After spending two months in reading, learning, designing and running for my paper works I finally have some time to update my own little site.

It's like coming home after a long time of absence.

What do you think you find after not working/visiting consequently your page?
What do we tell our clients and practice for them?  .... yea, you're right!

Well I found a broken link and a forum down! Good thing... I have a automatic backup.
BAD thing... its broken/not readable.

So I will start with a new forum again from beginning AND will keep daily backups!
No problem, since there have been just my own posts and answers. :))

Today I entered my page with Metaner into some Search engines to finally get traffic.

The last days as I wanted to update the design of my R.I.S. Page I haven't felt comfortably and happy with the logo pronounced on March 31.

So I designed everything from the beginning under the KISS aspect (Keep It Stupid Simple).

My own little business is going on well. (besides the difficulties with the paperwork's here in Greece).

I am working on a companies Homepage now, to strictly divide personal with company.

The companies name will be R.I.S. Rinelli Interactive Services.
Can you imagine that it is really hard to design a logo for your own business?
For my clients I got it straight and fast done and for myself I have difficulties!

Hello everyone.
Big news...

I have decided to open my own little company. The official opening will be until end of March 2005.

My main fields will be:

Web Sites, Company Design, Office Design, Marketing, Telephone and online support, Picture and Video editing.

Well it sounds a lot but that is what I am already doing and since I am getting more and more clients I am certain to continue in this manner. Time will show.

Yea, of course this page will remain my personal page. The link to my companies page will be posted soon as it is online.

At the moment I am doing good with online marketing and I hope that this will work out. I have already a domain for my online marketing with GDI.

You should try it out! it is no joke and you really have nothing to invest for it.

Today died my aunt Rosa Dreher in the age of 90.
She passed away while sleeping and had not to suffer. I thank God for this.

Here burial will be on Friday the 21 in Munich.

Unfortunately, cause of unemployment, I wont be able to go.

I will update my site with a online shop and the new photo gallery soon.

If I will update my CV's I have not yet decided, because of the just five month's working for 2pi Applications I don't see the need for it yet.

As well I will cancel some mail accounts I gave a few people of you because no one of you haven't even found the kindness to sign in to my guestbook and the forum.
Just downloading and not even leaving a note is not the fine way.

You like my work and I can see this on the download numbers.

Uhh yea... something else... would you people mind not to direct link to the photo gallery? I would like to have my counter giving the correct number of visits.
A counter is not only something to show me how much visitors I had. This I can see on the statistics. It is to show NEW visitors that this site is visited continuously.

Think of this... you visit two new sites you found through a search engine... you see in the first site the counter at 800 and on the other the counter on 32.000 and running... wont you think that the site with 32.000 visitors and continuously rising will be more attractive on you?
I don't like to activate that annoying direct link stoppers.

I will add the 2005 album and the new renderings soon as I transfer the new gallery to the place of the old one.

Can you believe that? Just arrived yesterday from my holidays in Germany and together with the happy new Year my company told me that through to reorganizations and because the company is to small for a product manager, they have to cancel my contract. They gave me some money as recompensation and that's it! And the best of all.... we have had arranged a three months notice period for both sides, but .... when you have nothing written and believe in words ...

I have learned of this: Don't never ever trust things you haven't in white and black.

It is not the fact that they discontinued the contract with me that makes me angry... but the fact that they haven't told me before my holidays so that I wouldn't have made so much expenses. I do have a family to take care of! Its just not human this decision. Give the man at least a few weeks to find something new!!!!

Anyway... I already have advertisement's running and hope for fast responses.

Makes me mad when I think of the company I finally decided not to work for and believed the words of that German who signs his self associate of the company.

But doing wrong decisions is human. Will get over it and already took a new lesson out of it.

Can you believe that? Wanted to render a small digital video of mine (approximate. 35 min.) with Adobe Premiere and it is not enough space with the movie settings available.
Hmpf, will need to learn more about video rendering.

Just got my system upgraded with another 512MB to a total of 1,25GB 400 DDR.
Hopefully the transcoding with Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5 will work now.

Today I got informed (and this accidentally) that my request (from January?) for the .com
domain was actually set. Can you imagine that I haven't received any info about that?

So finally you can use : www.pathfinder-online.com if you prefer.

...as I wanted in beginning. I will decide in future if I will keep both of the domains or just switch to the .com domain.

Hello, just got back online.
I've had a system crash while using Adobe Premiere 1.5 under XP with SP2.
NO recovering possible. Happily I am backing up everything on a second plate, including pst backup.
Well just lost the work I have been doing (until I am finished I am not moving files to the Backup Disk). Unlikely it has been something I have been working for my company on.

Uhh yea ... and of course I lost my e-mails. Doing every day a backup with that tool in Outlook 2003.... hmpf. As I wanted to open the backup... it has been corrupted. Well... no problem since we have that scanpst.exe tool....     Yea it destroyed my pst. From 137 MB it recovered 4,6 MB. and that's NOTHING.

So everyone who had sent me mails the last week and has still no answer - please do a resend.

I got a new photo gallery online (promised it a long time ago), but I am still not happy about it. The style and something else is annoying me but what, I still cant figure out yet.
For until it is a "round" thing I got the gallery under a separate link online.

The last months have hold me really tight with my time. As I pronounced end of June I have been seeking for a new experience to fill me out and I got a new job.

My new job is so far very interesting and is filling me out. Enough to learn and build and the ability to run with 100 without being stopped. Hope everything will work out as planned.
After the first advertise in the German newspaper here in Greece (Athener Zeitung) I got quit quick responses (took them 3 days).
I have been asked for general manager and assigned to it already. Got everything settled for a Wednesday afternoon with the  lawyers. ... well the afternoon before another company (my new boss) called and asked me for a meeting. I told him the truth, that I already settled and the signing of the contracts will be the next day. But as I am ALWAYS curious I asked him for a meeting early in the morning, so that it will be before the contract signing.
What should I say ... he impressed me with his ideas and of course with his offer. Well, he mad the run.

I will try some changes (finally) in the gallery to get rid of the boring Front Page outfit.

Still got no time to learn Dreamweaver. On my own I think I won't find the time. So I decided to sign for classes. Will do this in this week and hope to be done soon.

I am going to add a gallery specially for handy renders in the size of 176x220. Working great with the Motorola V600 I made my self as present (who else). The same renders under the same name will be available as common wallpapers in ether 1.024x768 or 1.600x1.200 .

Thinking even on getting some of my families pictures online. Will see about that.

Computer: YES OF COURSE I've made some changes. So much time there has to be.
I changed the common tower into a Thermaltake V2000A in aluminium. Now my cooling and noise probs belong to the past. As new soundcard I've added the Creative Audigy 2 ZS Platinum Pro and as a new harddisk I decided a SATA  with 120 GB.

Added some handy renderings.

Added the SeaSideTwo Animation as a .avi File.
It is made of about 1820 Frames with a size of 1.024 x 768. I converted it with DirX.

So there is about a month gone and no update in between? Why?

I got a serious allergy on antibiotics a doctor gave me. The name of the antibiotic is
Lidoprim and I suggest you don't use it.
I nearly got to cross the river with it and had to stay seven day in hospital and three weeks
in therapies. But now I am fine.

Starting updating the homepage with new versions of my curriculum vitae.
Next will be examples of my work, such as small programs, forms for back office, ...

Due to the latest experiences private and in business I am seeking for a new professional change in business. Will be running some advertisement's in three Greek newspapers.

Back again. Sorry for not announcing my vacations, I really left in a hurry.
What did I needed this holidays.... I arranged that my mother in law will hold Aris.
Than I just took Meropi and we drove with the Bike (and the Ferry) to Rhodos to
meet my parents there.
My parents do have a travel agency and as every year they lead a group on there own.
This year they've decided to go to Rhodos. So we went there two for vacation an to
see my parents again.
We've stayed in Kalithea the Royal Almond Palace (6 Stars). It has been terrific and...
I just missed computers the first 2 days!!! Back home I did not want to sit on the PC
at all. So first touch has been at the office.

Now I am working on a few new renders which I hope to post next week.

Today I've made a present to my little girl and upgraded it with another 512 MB DDR-400. I do have a total of 785,9 MB.

I plan to insert a new Category "Safety" in my site, as I get asked a lot lately for to secure or remove viruses, worms, etc.
Thinking of uploading some removing tools and patches, or the links to it. Need to check first if Symantec and Microsoft do have problems with it.

...and yea you're right... the Background of my Homepage is still a FrontPage Background. Will change it soon.

Sorry for not updating the last days. Got a lot of unpleasant stress in my office, so I spent the last few days (Thursday until Sunday) with my family and took a few online courses to distress a little.

Today I am uploading a change in the Page Design. Everything Buttons, Banners is my own creation. I rendered the Buttons and Banners with Photoshop 7.

I would really like to here your opinion on the new outfit.

I am still working on the second animation. It's a big one in size, but I don't feel very happy with the result of the script. Well, please mark that this is NOT the fault of the scripting Tool Terranim. It's the Landscape I created that is not likely.

Thanks to Dan Parnham the writer of Terranim I found the right tools to get smooth animations.
That for, I will still need some time to figure out the right settings. The compression with even DivX 5.1 is getting a unclear and diffuse result.

I'll try to get at least a Beta Version ready and hope you can help me with some tricks you might have figured out.

I have updated the Gallery with two new renderings (Green in the Mountain and Riverbed) witch I created with Terragen.

Just finished reinstalling my System after a small hardware upgrade.

My System now is a Intel P4 3.2 GHz on a MSI 875P Neo-FIS2R with 800FSB, ...
Benchmarks quit good, but so far not as I expected the should be.
Will need to upgrade my RAM to 500 MB and I guess that my MSI FX5600 128 MB is getting to slow for my system now. Aquamark is just getting about 14.000 while I got with my TI4200 over 15.000 points.

Now I am working on the second animation (Sea Side Two) I mentioned. It took me from 25 February until March 10th to render it. Trying to figure out now how to get the 1833 frames optimized and into a smooth line.

Today I submitted my page to three search engines and others will come. That for I resetted the counter.

Starting to update my Homepage with a few new renders and a new page for my animations.
I really like to read your comments about the animations. ... and maybe you have a answer for my small problem concerning the animation speed. I cant get them running smoothly.

I have created a new script for a 1800 frames animation and started the rendering on 25 February and its still running. :-((

Hope it will be ready on Saturday evening. There still about 100 frames left to render.
... my own fault. I wanted to render and animate see, clouds, sun and landscape. hmpf that's to much for a P4 2,4 system.  - ore is just the render software Terragen and Terranim the reason?

The last week on I tried to figure out how to use and work with Photoshop and started a online course at adobe element k. Its quit good... if you don't have to wait 20 min. to download the lectures on a 56k modem.

Thinking of a new design for my homepage to get it more likely. So there will come hopefully in the next days a new outfit.

Uhh yea I forgot... to get finally traffic on this site, I will add this page in some search engines. If anyone counters problems with spam, redirections, viruses and what ugly stuff else you can find. Please mail me, so that I can stop them.
